The second volume continues Imhoof-Blumer’s close treatment of southern and southwestern Anatolian mints. It is especially useful for small civic bronzes, local dynasts, fragmentary legends, magistrates, alliances, and cult imagery that broad handbooks often omit. Specimen references and plates can preserve the only readily accessible record of coins once in private cabinets or known from the nineteenth-century market.
Because the work was assembled before many excavations and modern provincial corpora, verify city attributions, local eras, magistrate readings, and authenticity. When possible, trace cited private specimens to later sales or museum accessions.
