Numophylacium Graecum indexes, describes, translates, and makes accessible historical numismatic reference works for research and education. Each work page includes a rights label based on the information currently available to the project.

Rights Status Labels

Public domain means we believe the underlying source work is in the public domain in the United States based on the information available to us. Rights may differ in other countries, and users are responsible for their own use.

Rights status unconfirmed means we have not confirmed that the work is public domain or licensed for hosting. Works with unconfirmed rights status may still be displayed for research access with a notice, a link to the source repository when available, and a takedown process.

Original source texts and scans may belong to their authors, publishers, libraries, repositories, or other rightsholders. Site-created metadata, summaries, OCR corrections, translations, software, layout, and compilation may be protected separately.
