American Journal of Numismatics, vols. 33–34, covers several consecutive issues of the first series. This bound pair records scholarship, collecting, and society activity around the turn of the century. It offers Greek-coin material in articles and specimen notes, but also in acquisition reports, correspondence, reviews, and sale notices. These ancillary sections can identify earlier owners and publications, clarify old citation chains, and preserve contemporary readings of poorly illustrated coins.
