American Journal of Numismatics, vols. 6–10

American Journal of Numismatics, vols. 6–10, covers several consecutive issues of the first series. This early run continues the journal’s mixture of scholarly notes and institutional record. Its Greek material appears in communications on individual coins, translated or summarized European research, acquisition notices, auction intelligence, and reports from collectors. These pages can help reconstruct nineteenth-century ownership chains and recover observations that were never developed into separate monographs. Use the original issue and page number, rather than only the bound-run title, when citing a specific item.
