Robinson publishes an archaic silver hoard presented to the Ashmolean Museum, recording weights, die positions, condition, and comments on individual pieces before considering the group as a whole. Its varied contents make it useful for studying circulation and relative chronology. The catalogue also preserves the reasoning behind particular historical and mint assignments.
