This later volume belongs to Pellerin’s supplementary publications, adding newly acquired or newly recognized royal and civic coins and correcting earlier volumes. It is useful when a specimen or revised attribution appears only in the supplements, and it can preserve changes in ownership, new legend readings, or additional engraved types. The absence of volume 5 from the site means this entry should not be treated as a complete continuous set.

These volumes predate modern epigraphy, archaeology, die study, and scientific authenticity testing. Verify scripts, rulers, dates, mints, and restored legends against current corpora, but retain the original plate and page because Pellerin may be the earliest witness for a specimen.
