Seager describes a dispersed hoard of small silver coins reportedly discovered near Canea in 1922, assembling 1,003 pieces after the initial discovery. His introduction records what could and could not be learned about the container and recovery. The catalogue supports comparisons of Cretan fractional silver while documenting the limitations of the find history.
