Ravel presents uncommon varieties of Corinthian-type staters from his collection and discusses the limited earlier literature on the series. The repeated Athena and Pegasos designs make close attention to controls and minor differences especially important. Use the note alongside regional catalogues and his later study of Ambracian coinage.
