The Numismatic Chronicle 1845

The Numismatic Chronicle 1845 is the annual London volume cited as NC 1845. It belongs to the journal’s formative first series, when British collectors and antiquaries communicated newly observed coins, private-cabinet material, discoveries, translations, and correspondence. Greek articles are often short and specimen-driven, but can be the earliest printed record of a type or collection.
