This volume includes the concluding phase of Rouvier’s long study of Phoenician cities and Svoronos’s report on a coin find from Eleusis, including Roman bronze coins of Athens. It is useful for both Levantine civic series and the archaeological circulation of Athenian bronze, with plates that should be checked alongside the text. As an Athens-based international journal, it often places coins beside inscriptions, excavation reports, seals, weights, and monuments rather than treating them solely as collectable objects.
