The second volume continues the journal’s international program in Greek, French, and German, with eight plates and studies of Greek and Roman provincial material. It is useful for early publication of specimens, inscriptions, and finds that circulated through the Athens museum and European scholarly networks. As an Athens-based international journal, it often places coins beside inscriptions, excavation reports, seals, weights, and monuments rather than treating them solely as collectable objects. Researchers should search the contents, plates, museum reports, and bibliographic notices for first attributions, provenance clues, unpublished variants, and contemporary debate.
