PHENI.CIE ARADUS Minted coins from 400 to })i av. AD 832. Ichthyomorphic dagon, in profile to the right, holding in each of its hands a dolphin by the tail. The god has a pointed beard, and his braided hair falls on her shoulders; on his stomach, we see a disk which seems to put bare his insides; from the kidneys sound body ends with a long tail sinuous of which the imbricate scales unfold helically ; the end of the tail raised ends with a double sting like that of the scorpion. Above, in the field, the letters ^-hj (ND, ex Arado). Circle corded around the edge. VjL.
