Scheu organizes the later Bruttian bronze series by denominations, types, symbols, and changes in weight. He considers its relationship with earlier Bruttian issues and contemporary Sicilian bronze. This study is useful for following a chronological classification of a varied series whose repeated types can otherwise obscure differences between groups.
