Inedita meiner Sammlung autonomer altgriechischer Münzen

The 1859 publication revisits and expands Prokesch-Osten’s presentation of unpublished autonomous Greek coins from his cabinet. It records additional specimens, revised readings, and further comparisons with public and private collections. Researchers can use it to follow changes from the 1854 edition, establish early provenances, and identify the source of types or legends later cited under Prokesch-Osten without a full bibliographic reference.

Because the work predates much of the modern archaeological, die-study, epigraphic, and provenance evidence, verify dates, mint or ruler assignments, legend readings, authenticity, and current specimen locations against current corpora and databases.
