The Numismatic Chronicle 1889 is the annual London volume cited as NC 1889. This volume belongs to the professionalizing phase associated with major British Museum catalogues and increasingly detailed regional, dynastic, and iconographic studies. Its Greek material may include substantial catalogues or plate-supported articles alongside shorter notes, acquisitions, hoards, reviews, and proceedings.
