I therefore think like Eckhel that the name is this^ him of a magistrate, but that the head which does not have the character of that of PaHas and which offers masculine features, is the pottniK of a hero of Macedonia or of the founder of the city who had this medal struck”; to the rest, I must add that the iwx, first letter* of the no^ already ina|istrat are doubtful.
